Dear sailors,
We are delighted to invite you to the 24th VETERANS WORLD CUP. The Czech Republic had the privilege of hosting this great and traditional event already in 1988 in Brno, in 2002 at Lipno Lake, and is glad to do so again.
The organizers have been carefully preparing this year’s cup in cooperation with the hosting Yacht Club Dyje Břeclav-Nove Mlyny. Nove Mlyny dam has recently become the best sailing resort in the country and provides competitors with good accommodation opportunities. There is a variety of pensions and hotels in the picturesque village Pavlov and historical town Mikulov, and a huge campsite right by the yacht club.
Therefore, the Czech Europe Class Association in cooperation with YC Dyje Breclav would like to invite you all to a great sailing event - the 24th VETERANS WORLD CUP in Europe class accompanied by various social events held at Nove Mlyny dam at the end of August 2011.
All sailing and Europe class fans are warmly welcome!

Date: 18th – 20th August, 2011, August 21st serving as a reserve day.
Programme: A social events will be held every evening

Entries registered after the deadline will be penalized 15 EUR

- Hotels in Pavlov village (distance from the yacht club approx. 800 m).

Yacht Club Dyje base is situated on the right bank of the 3rd Nove Mlyny dam.

From Mikulov
stay on route E461 direction Brno.
after 6 km to the right, direction Horni Vestonice
after passing through Horni Vestonice you will come to Dolni Vestonice and turn to the right direction Pavlov
just after 3 km you can see masts of yachts in our harbour on the left side
From Brno
stay on route E461 direction Pohorelice, Mikulov.
after 33 km turn to the left direction Horni Vestonice
after passing through Horni Vestonice you will come to Dolni Vestonice and turn to the right direction Pavlov
just after 3 km you can see masts of yachts in our harbour on the left side
From Breclav
stay on route 425 direction Brno (not highway).
after 14 km turn to the left to Rakvice
go straight through Rakvice and Pritluky and turn to the left direction Milovice
go through Milovice - direction Pavlov
after 4 km you can see masts of yachts in our harbour on the right side
